Our Mission

We believe in cinema as a free voice for women and a powerful force for change. The festival is dedicated to supporting women’s cinematic creativity from Palestine and around the world by providing a platform to showcase outstanding works, discover emerging talents, and empower women filmmakers both professionally and artistically.

The festival also strives to present an authentic image of Palestinian women, foster global cultural dialogue, and raise awareness of cinema’s role as an influential tool in advancing justice, equality, and women’s rights.

Our Vision

The Gaza International Women’s Film Festival aspires to establish itself as a leading global platform that showcases the creative achievements of women in cinema, with a special focus on highlighting the stories and experiences of Palestinian women.

We aim to create an artistic and cultural space that transcends borders and barriers, connecting women creators from different parts of the world and contributing to changing stereotypes about Palestinian and Arab women. The festival seeks to present a distinctive artistic vision that reflects the realities and aspirations of women in Palestine while demonstrating their ability to create, influence, and inspire despite challenging circumstances.

We also strive to make the festival a bridge for cultural communication between Palestine and the world, providing opportunities for the exchange of experiences, ideas, and knowledge in the field of film production and cinematic arts.
