The management of the Gaza International Women’s Film Festival, headed by the Festival’s Founder and President, Dr. Ezzaldeen Shalh, has announced the films participating in the second edition of the festival. This edition features 73 films from 24 countries: Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Sudan, Mauritania, India, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands, Finland, Libya, in addition to Palestine.
Shalh stated that the second edition, held under the theme “Women Creating Life from Death,” will take place as scheduled from 26–31 October 2026, among the tents of displaced people. The participating films are divided into the categories of Feature Fiction Films, Feature Documentary Films, Short Fiction Films, Short Documentary Films, as well as the National Short Film Competition, reflecting the diversity of the program and the broad participation in the festival’s second edition.
